Fitness Class Questions

What do I need to bring for a class?

Please bring clean indoor shoes, an exercise mat and a water bottle.

Where do classes take place?

  • In the winter (mid-October - mid April) classes take place at an indoor location within Cochrane, AB.

  • In the Spring/ Summer and Fall classes take place at an outdoor location within Cochrane, AB.

Can I bring my baby or toddler to class?

Yes, your baby and/or toddler is always welcome to join you at fitness classes or personal training sessions. Please note, child care is NOT provided, you are responsible for your child.

What if my baby cries/ fusses or wants to be held during class?

Babies cry—it’s completely normal! Feel free to bring a baby carrier, and exercises can be modified accordingly. If you're comfortable, your instructor may assist in soothing your baby while you work out.

What if Robyn is unable to teach a class?

If Robyn is unable to teach a class, she will either:

  • Teach the class virtually via Google Meet, or

  • Cancel the class and schedule a make-up session.

What happens with bad weather?

In case of poor weather conditions, classes will either be relocated to a suitable indoor location or rescheduled.

Personal Training Questions

What do I  bring for a personal training session?

Please bring clean indoor shoes and a water bottle.

Where do personal training sessions take place?

Personal training sessions take place at Cochrane Women’s Fitness private studio.

How long are personal training sessions?

Personal training sessions are 60 minuets in length

Do I need to have an initial consultation?

Yes. An initial consultation is required before beginning personal training. This session allows us to discuss your fitness goals, health history, and how to best support your journey. 

What personal training packages do you offer?

Yes, I offer packages of 5 or 10 Personal Training sessions. 

How long is my personal training package valid for?

Personal training packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Can I bring my baby or toddler to Personal Training Sessions?

Yes! Babies and toddlers are welcome. However, childcare is not provided, and you are responsible for your child during the session.

What if I am late for a personal training session?

If you’re running late, please text or call Robyn. Sessions will end at the scheduled time to accommodate other appointments.

What if I need to cancel my personal training session?

If you need to cancel, please notify Robyn at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in the session being forfeited.

Group Personal Training Questions

Do I need to have an initial consultation?

Yes. Every participant must complete an initial consultation before starting group training. 

Does each member need to purchase a package?

Yes. Each participant must purchase a Group Personal Training package.

What happens if 1 member of the group cannot attend the training session?

If one member is unable to attend, the group has two options:

  1. Cancel the session with at least 24 hours' notice.

  2. The absent member forfeits their session, and the rest of the group proceeds as scheduled.
